Top of the world

Lusa's critique brought me here, and this caught my eye so I decided to critique it too.
Firstly, this reminds me of the coast near San Diego in California. It's gorgeous, a long beach with mountains just on the side. Even though those are supposed to be rocks...xD
But still, great job. I cans ee the thought you put into this!
Let's start with the things you can improve on.
Con's;
Like Lusa said, it's alittle too skinny. It looks fine like that, it adds style, but if you want to go more realistic with your style try studying wolf anatomy and you will see.
What caught my eye on the wolf the most is the ruffles on his forehead. If he's howling, the muzzle should be crumpled, not the forehead. Try making it with straight lines next time C:
The shading is good, but instead of using just white/black try using more realistic colors for the scene you are drawing the character in - for this, the light source would be light blue, and the shadows would be dark blue/black. Try searching some shading techniques, it helps alot!
Lastly for the cons would be the detail. I appreciate the fact you drew it with brushes all by hand, and it's a good technique although it takes alot of time. Try adding textures and more detail to the objects as in the rocks and the grass. The rocks would have a dirty, pebbly texture, and the grass wouldn't look as flat.

Pro's;
I love your style, I can tell you have really been trying hard! It's so hard for me to catch onto anatomy and you are doing very well with it. The pose is just perfect, I can't see anything you should fix.
Like I said I love the idea of drawing the background by hand, it's so much work but you pulled it off very well.
The clouds look amazing! I can also see the shading you added to the water, if I look really close to the right it looks so real!
